Safety and support

BuzzStar safety.
Respect on both sides.

BuzzStar connects fans and creators for live conversations. In-app reporting, blocking, and call controls help you respond to an unwanted interaction. Respect the person on the other side and protect your account.

Every call, every person

A paid call still has boundaries.

Paying for someone’s time does not buy permission to pressure, harass, or expose them. Fans and creators must follow the same community standards.

  • Keep conversations appropriate. BuzzStar does not permit nudity or sexual content.
  • Do not threaten, bully, discriminate, or make unwanted sexual comments.
  • Do not ask for private contact details or pressure someone to meet off-platform.
  • Do not impersonate another person or share someone’s personal information.
  • Respect a request to change the subject or end the conversation.

The Community Guidelines explain the rules and possible enforcement. Read the child safety standards for child protection and reporting information.

Protect your details

Keep control of your account and spending.

Keep verification codes to yourself

The fan browser flow uses phone verification. Enter your code only in the BuzzStar sign-in flow. Do not share it with another caller or send it in a message.

Check what is visible on camera

Choose a setting that keeps your address, payment details, work documents, and other personal information out of view. Use your device’s camera and microphone permission controls.

Review each purchase

Check the selected call length and total before paying. Queue upgrades, extensions, and recordings have separate purchase details. Keep payments within the official BuzzStar flow.

Recording and sharing

Ask first. Respect permission.

BuzzStar offers call recording purchases where available and with both participants’ agreement. Do not assume every call includes a recording or that a purchased recording gives permission to post it.

Do not screen-record, screenshot, or capture someone’s call yourself. Do not publish or share call content without the other participant’s explicit written permission.

Read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for BuzzStar’s handling of communications and recordings. Contact support with questions about a particular recording or privacy request.

Something went wrong

Report it. Block the account. Get help.

Use the in-app safety actions to report a user or block an account. On supported call screens, Block & end call combines blocking with ending the conversation. You can end a call through the call controls too.

The Report Center shows your submitted reports, their status, and updates. Keep your report specific so the team can understand the interaction. Reporting tools do not promise an immediate response.

For an inappropriate interaction, account concern, or payment issue, contact support@buzzstar.com.

Include the creator or account name, the date and approximate time, and a clear description. For a charge, include the relevant purchase reference if you have it. Keep passwords, verification codes, and full payment details out of your message.

Call and refund questions

Check the call in your history. Use the refund request option where available, or ask support for help. A request is reviewed and does not guarantee a refund.

For an immediate threat to someone’s safety, contact local emergency services.
